What kind of real estate do you invest in?
- Our investments focus on cash flowing real estate in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
- We prefer multi-tenant properties and will invest in single tenant properties on a case by case basis.
How is my money secured?
- Your money is always sent to the closing attorney’s holding account for the transaction (escrow). Money is never sent to us personally and funds are only disbursed once closing documents for the real property have been signed. NO exceptions.
- You can have equitable interest in the property (ownership) and/or you can have a promissory note and deed of trust to secure your money as a lien against the property.

What happens to my info?
- We will contact you promptly after receiving your submission.
- Your information is encrypted and sent directly to us. We store your information in a private file and keep you on our list of people to contact with real estate investment opportunities.
- Your information will never be sold.
How do I actually invest?
- At Home brings the deals to you and you get to decide whether you want to invest or not.
- Before you send money to the title company, you will receive financial history about the property and tenant as well as P&L and other applicable financial documents, the purchase contract, and details about each transaction, including what interest rate and terms that you are being offered.
- We do all of the due diligence and work. We keep you updated and let you know everything that’s going on. Agreements are written out and explained to you as much as you need before proceeding.
- When it comes time to invest, most transactions will just require you to wire money to the closing attorney.
This seems too good to be true. What am I missing?
- Investments are secured by the properties/assets. As with any investment, there is the possibility to lose money.

How much involvement is needed from me? What if I don't know what I'm doing?
- On the low level of involvement it can be wiring money to the title company is your only involvement.
- On high levels of involvement, you can shadow us, come to the investment properties being researched, and be included in communications and negotiations.
- Because At Home leads every investment, you don’t need to know anything about real estate. The more you know the better, but on legally binding documents for purchasing property, an appointed real estate professional will always be the one to sign.
